Have a DIY Fathers Day

Gifts & Stuff To Do for Dad on Fathers Day.

It's only a couple days and if you're like me I leave the DIY Daddy day stuff to two days before, or if I'm really bad the night before. But even if you have left it till late it's no reflection on how we feel about our fathers. They may leave their underwear all over the floor setting a bad example for our little ones but their cuddles and loving moments make up for that when it comes to them and their kids.

I have some fond memories of my dad when I was little, camping trips, helping him fix the car, showing me how to take photos, reading me stories and he has also helped me with some really personal moments in my life that I'll never forget. Then it's also Ralph's first fathers day, I wanted to make it memorable as this is the start of all fathers days to come. Here are some great ideas for Dad this fathers day that are relatively easy to do but still show you took time to care.

Quick and easy to make Bottle tags you can use for dads favorite beverage! A more inventive idea than a simple ol' card.

These are great bags for dad and he'll love the detail you've put into it. To make it more personal base the shirt bag on one of dads favourite outfits.

These are great, printable coupons that you can make in minutes. Some of them include 1 hour afternoon nap coupon, Hog the remote coupon and help with the yard work! Or you can use it as inspiration to make your own coupons.

This is a great gift that the kids can make, something he'll keep close to his heart. You download and print all the pages, staple together then cover the staples with ribbon. Then let the kids fill it in!

5. Homemade tie
So sometimes Dads get ties for fathers day, christmas, birthdays etc. and yes not all dads consider it a great gift but once you tell him you made it watch his facial expression change! "You made this!?" he'll wear it everyday with pride, even if he's not going to work!

This would be a favourite of all the men in my family and if they didn't already have something like this I would make them one for Fathers day. Paracords are a survival or strong cord that can be used for almost anything. This tutorial will show you how to make them, you never know you might even make one for yourself?

7. Breakfast In bedhead
For breakfast get the kids to make daddy out of food then serve him to daddy in bed.

8. Make him a feast fit for a king
We all know men love food and nearly all men LOVE bacon. Spend the day getting the kids to help cook him a bunch of his favourite foods, or better show him some new things like this chocolate chip and candied bacon cookie recipe.

9. Sharpie Cups
Get the kids to draw or write a message on a white cup for dad then bake the cups in the oven for 30 minutes at 350F to stop the sharpie from coming off the cup when washing.
Dads always some teck related cord lying around. Make him this pouch to keep his charger, usb cords, etc all in one place. Lets just hope he doesn't lose the pouch!
