What you're really spending on milk
When Rohan was first born he took to breastfeeding, I told myself I wasn't going to get upset if he didn't do it but to my surprise he knew exactly what to do? After three days of him NOT coming off my breast I had had it! So I switched to pumping, which then turned into mixed feeds of formula and breast milk which is now just formula. But, how much am I actually spending a week on this stuff?
Well, I decided to research the prices of the three most popular formula brands in the UK.
Cow & Gate *what we use
Rohan has 3-4 bottles a day now with his 3 meals and 2 snacks, a lot more food than I thought he could handle but apparently he's a hungry boy. We use Cow & Gate as they seem, for me to have the best ingredients, support and price. But here is what I found when looking into things based on 4 bottles a day for a week.
Four 9oz. Bottles A Day For A Week Costs:
Based on average cost of formula in the UK

Cow & Gate 900g powdered formula = £17.98 a week

On Average Cow & Gate will save you the most money unless cartons which you're better off with Aptamil. But These prices are the average of Tesco, Asda, Waitrose, Boots, and Sainsbury's
Most expensive place to buy formula was Boots & The Co-op.
This product is good for children health, and this is affordable in price.
